The book covers a very broad field and is informing, however it is slightly basic in many parts and does not discuss nor go into great detail concerning many of the areas such as causes of crime and criminology. This is a book on law as well as forensic psychology, but one of the main factors and most important areas to study when it comes to forensic psychology is the cause of the issues. And since it covers a very broad field, it stays pretty basic. I recommend it to anyone just beginning to study the forensic psychology field, criminal justice, or law though.

Almost too much information- hard to remember everything from only one chapter. Overall, good book.

Using this book as a basic text for an undergraduate course. Well grounded in the professional practice of forensic psychology.
The book has footnotes which help a lot. The information in the book is very straight forward and at the same time detailed.
