Older versions serve me better. There used to be conversion tables on nearly every topic. Now one gets the conversion formulas but the tables are no longer included. In that regard it's a do it yourself version. I really miss the old format. Examples: C to F tables etc., water content of saturated air at given temperatures (mg/liter) or grams per cubic meter, the coversion tables of metric to english weights and measures. The 1937 handbook provided a different approach.
Everybody in chemistry and/or physics should have a copy on their desk.
A really great reference text for professionals in high tech industries!
As a chemistry student, this is pretty much my Bible. It really has so much useful information. There were a few things here and there that I couldn't find (they were obscure and even took a long internet search to find), but everything else is there. My university is still using books from the 80's and earlier, so the new edition will last for a long time.
Great reference book. Glad I got one cheap.
I used this book prolifically in undergraduate/graduate engineering and found it indispensable. Now it's my grandsons turn. Highly recommend to all engineering/physics/chemistry students
CRC Handbooks are remarkable publications. The 2012-2113 version replaces an eaiier version used for chemistry and physics in my pre-med days.Greg
