This book is so funny that I had to move to another room as I was laughing so much. Tears ran down frequently from laughing . I chose this book as I heard and read the author was hysterical..She n hubby,George. GMA are best friends w Jerry Seinfeld n wife. The chapter on the family vacation alone worth buying the book n the endorphins released. I pulled an all nighter as the book was a must couldn't put it down.
OMGosh, Ali. Thank you for being you. That's why you are my inspiration when it comes to a tell-all. You unashamedly spill it. Wish we could sit on the IT'S COMPLICATED sofa, drink wine, and chat like old friends...just the way you sound in your books:like someone I've known in a past life.
It has been a while since I've read something other than a romance novel. Ali's book was a pleasant surprise. It made me smile, laugh, and kept my interest. I definitely recommend this book for anyone whom wants to relax and laugh out loud for real... NOT just with letters. Lol
As usual Ali Wentworth delivers everyday life as humorous and light-hearted in the only way she can write. WHat I love about her books is she makes me laugh at her guffaws and makes you feel normal. Yeah for Ali!

I loved this book. I laughed all the way through it. She is totally unfiltered, yet endearing. Sometimes I feel sorry for her family--but I agree with her --sometimes it is our job to embarrass our loved ones in a loving way. Ali Wentworth is a treasure. I want to be her best friend.
So funny, I couldn't stop laughing and my husband asked me repeatedly to go in another room to read as I was disrupting his reading. A must buy if you need a good chuckle and aren't afraid of her blunt but honest style.
I love Ali's sense of humor so I really enjoyed this book. The chapters are just the right length and laughs to fit in your busy life. She puts into words what a lot of us think. There is always something to make you laugh and to make you think.
