This was a good book to learn medical terminology. I liked that it had vocabulary words/terms as well as pathology terms for each chapter. Each chapter also had review questions, crosswords and word searches. There is a newer edition of this book, but my teacher allowed us to use this version. We didn't do the chapter questions, so I can't say if the questions are similar or different between the editions.
Includes abbreviations and common codes. An excellent reference. Lightly includes diseases/disorders and categorizes everything by body systems. Very easy to learn formatting and user friendly reference charts.
There was very little water damage, but it works perfect. The book had no writing in it which was fabulous. Thank you so much
Book was very used. And the cd did not work at all. Writing and highlighting everywhere. I knew it would be a little banged up but not that used. Overall I can still read the pages which is what I needed, I'll try to put my ocd to the side for now
Great book
Never have I ever rated a textbook as they are usually boring and required reading. However, at the end of my rental period I will be purchasing this book. It is the most helpful medical/anatomy book I have ever used. It's extremely clear, organized, and straight forward.
If you are studying for anything in the Medical field, I highly recommend this text book. It is the holy bible of the medical world.
