Interesting book
Great reworking of Birbaums classic text. Excellent insights into today's models, current theory and future needs within higher education today.
I actually had to rent this book because I was on vacation and had to write a paper and left my book at home. It was very helpful that it is available on kindle digital.

Was what the professor asked for.
The book arrived on time - in fact quite a while ago. However, I just realized that the book itself is missing all materials at the beginning, including the page with copyright date. Instead, the first few pages are advertisements for this book and others by the same publisher. I noticed several rectangles on the book's cover that were carved away with a knife and covered with tape. My guess is that this book was a promotional copy or instructor's copy and the words "not for resale" were removed. It's really hard to reference a book without the front matter.
